Welcome to www.POINT.ac.uk from the Editor in Chief

This is a free-access site. It will neither replace nor duplicate the hard copy version of POINT, but will instead complement and expand the work of the existing journal. The website will be updated bi-monthly and direct contributions are welcome. Responses to articles, research news and general correspondence should be addressed to
adresearch@ntu.ac.uk
The editorial board will be happy to consider articles for publication on the website but these will be subject to the standard processes of refereeing and must be submitted to conform to the notes for guidance.
The main website includes details of previous issues and reproduces all available abstracts. All back numbers, except for issue two, are available for sale. The site also includes calls for papers and notes for guidance on submissions.
We look forward to receiving contributions from you.

Professor Richard Woodfield
Editor in Chief

The Point Editorial Board and CHEAD Executive have reviewed the role of Point and have agreed that it should no longer continue in its present form. It is the joint view of the Editorial Board and the Executive that CHEAD should examine further ways of engagement with and dissemination of research issues. Issue 12 of Point, published February 2002, is therefore the last in the current form. Enquiries should be forwarded to info@chead.org.uk

This is a temporary measure, and modifications to the CHEAD website are currently in hand. It is intended to transfer the Point Website from NTU to the CHEAD website before the autumn.
